OIT is proud to present IT Spotlight 2016: Expand Your Toolset, an informal and FREE conference for faculty, staff, and students.
In 30-minute sessions, you will discover new features in apps you use every day, at new apps you might want to try, and at other products and services OIT offers. Increase your productivity, energize your use of new technologies, and answer any questions you may have.
Just some of the 30 topics include:
Tips and tricks in Gmail, Google Drive, Google Groups, and Google Forms
Improve personal productivity with Todoist, Trello, and better email management
Getting the most out of your VOIP phone, your iPhone, and your Android phone
Which should you use? Box and Google Drive; Google Forms and Qualtrics; PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Prezi
Introductions to platforms such as Tableau, OnBase, and SalesForce CRM
Have a question? Did something pique your interest? Visit the Solutions Central, where people can meet with a tech expert to try to solve technical issues, answer specific questions about certain apps, or learn where to find more help.
The conference will be held in DeBartolo Hall on Wednesday October 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday October 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It is intended for faculty, staff and students and is free to attend. You can come for whatever sessions you want, whether it’s one session, one half day, or the whole conference.
