Advising Information Sessions
Join First Year Advisors and Peer Advisors!
June 23 and 24, 2021 | 7:00 PM EDT
Across two identical nights, the Center for University Advising will host Zoom meetings in which incoming first-year students can engage with college-specific First Year Advising Teams and current students! Advisors and students from the College of Arts and Letters, Mendoza College of Business, College of Engineering, and College of Science are excited to welcome you!
How this works:
Using the table below, identify the college/school housing your intended program of study (or whatever college/school sparks your interest!) Next, at 7:00 PM EDT on June 23 or June 24, follow the appropriate Zoom Link to attend a virtual Advising Information Session! Note - After clicking the link, you will need to sign into Zoom via your new NetId!
What you can expect:
Peer Advisors, a group of current students with various academic interests and educational journeys, will outline their experiences with the Center for University Advising. Peer Advisors will offer some useful advice and insights gained from their own course registration, discernment, and first year at Notre Dame. First Year Advisors will also join to clarify details and answer any questions you may have as you prepare to register for your first courses!
How you can prepare:
- Mark your calendar for June 23 or 24 and return to this site at 7:00 PM EDT to join the Advising Information Session
- Review the Fall 2021 Registration Preparation Guide and identify any questions you have about the registration process
- Spread the news to any and all incoming first-year students with whom you are in contact
