First Year Sample Schedules

Students typically take five academic courses (at least three credits each) and the Moreau First Year Experience course (one credit) in both semesters of their first year, for a total of 16 to 19 credits each semester, depending on intended major and courses selected. Voluntary courses such as ROTC and music lessons and ensembles can be taken in addition to the standard course load. Students are not allowed to take more than 21 credits in a semester.

Below are examples of typical schedules for a selection of programs to help you make decisions about your major and your courses. Your schedule may differ from the sample schedule. If a course number is listed (for instance, CHEM 10171), then that course is required.
