Urban Challenge II Info Session
Spring semester’s Urban Challenge II invites all first-year students to delve a little deeper into an issue of local or regional importance. Individuals or teams will submit a proposal that addresses the concerns of the greater Michiana community – South Bend, Mishawaka, and Niles (Michigan). Concrete, creative proposals might address, for example: economic development, neighborhoods, community and police relationships, youth programs, sustainability of environment, food security, or arts/cultural awareness. What makes for a vibrant community? What could strengthen community resources? What specific needs/challenges does this particular community have? How can you – as Notre Dame students – work with community partners to meet the challenges?
Learn more specific information about the Urban Challenge II proposal criteria during the information session. Proposal deadline is Tuesday, March 31.
